Shinjuku - cats and cherry blossoms

Japanese style breakfast on Monday morning.
We went to the Cat Cafe Mocha in Shinjuku. We were in there for about an hour, so get ready for lots of cat pics.

This boy is Orion.
This is Chibikina. He was very docile.
 This is Tsubuan.
 Here's Miyabi.
Orion again. A very long tail.
This is Origami. She was very sleepy.
 This is Maru.
 This is Pudding.
 Here's Monet.
Kuromitsu was Lauren's favourite. Munchkin and calico, a winning combination.
This is Mizore. She was shy.
 Her name is Milk.
This is Rum. She has a brother named Raisin.
Kuromitsu again. Written with the characters for "black" and "honey", it means brown sugar syrup.
Here he is, this is Raisin.
 Here's Totoro. Lookit that face.
Miyabi again. He always looks kind of grumpy.
 Monet is up.
This is Kaede. She's very smol.
Shirayuki looked very confused the whole time.
Raisin with his head propped up.

The cherry trees were in bloom all over the place. They're probably the cause of my frequent sneezing.

It's the Green Peas Man!

 Takoyaki from Gindaco.
 Godzilla at the movies.
 I heart Kabukicho.
Kabukicho is a magical place.
 Bubble tea at Bubbly Bubbles.
This one umbrella had a tinysmile c:
 Nice ocean mural.
 This is Hanazono Shrine.
Chinese lion dogs standing guard.

 A wiggly building.

These two streets are separated by a very narrow building.
We spent most of the rest of the day walking around the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden Park.

Crowds tended to concentrate around each cherry tree.

The koi gathered under this bridge and swam near the surface with their mouths open, like they're used to people feeding them.
 Willowy willow.
I basically took photos of anything that was pink.

 Lauren in the flowers.

 Face full of flowers.

This garden is probably nicer in the summer.

The sycamore tree bark reminds me of camo print.

The greenhouse was full of orchids and tropical plants.

This one is definitely a mouth.

These flowers look a bit like pitcher plants, but their scoop-shaped petals aren't filled with anything.

A bit of the old Black Magic.
 Black hearts and red hearts.
 Banana plants sure are funny-looking.

The cactus zone.
 Long and skinny tentacley cactus.
 Some nice succulents.
 Bowl of balls.

These are some really cool leaves.

This flower ring is the end of the garden.
 Map tiles.

 Puzzle piece building.
Omurice for dinner. Demi glace sauce is the best.
 Lauren and her crepe.
 A bunch of city shots.

This little toy was goin' NUTS in front of the arcade.
On our way back to the hotel, we saw a campaign speech in front of the station by the Constitutional Democratic Party. Just like in my Persona 5!
